Titles List

 

The Titles List displays the item titles found in your search query. NOTE: Some searches will display a Headings List, requiring you to make another selection before presenting a Titles List. The top of each page will list your search query and the total number of items found.

To display the record details associated with a title, click on the underlined title to jump to the Brief Record Display. To return to the Titles List, click the Title button on the top menu bar. If there are more than 10 titles, you can display the next 10 titles by clicking the icon. You can return to the previous 10 titles by clicking the icon.

You can save information about the current records displayed in several ways as shown in the Record Options section.

Save Specific Records from One Screen

  1. Mark the record(s) you are interested in by clicking on the white box on the left side of the screen.
  2. Under the Record Options section, select "Selected on page" in order to save your display.
  3. Under Select Download Format, select the format to save the record(s): usually the Full Record or the Brief Record
  4. Click the Format for Print/Save button. A list of records for the titles you selected will appear.
  5. Go to your browser's (eg. Internet Explorer) File/Save or File/Save As command to save your file.

Save Specific Records from Multiple Screens

  1. Mark the record(s) you are interested in on the curent page by clicking on the white boxes on the left side of the screen.
  2. Then select "Selected on Page" and click on the Retain Selected button on the current screen.
  3. Continue this process for each screen of titles until all desired titles are selected and retained.
  4. Under the Record Options section, select "Selected all Pages".
  5. Under Select Download Format, select the format to save the record(s): usually the Full Record or the Brief Record.
  6. Click the Format for Print/Save button. A list of records for the titles you selected will appear.
  7. Go to your browser's (eg. Internet Explorer) File/Save or File/Save As command to save your file.

Save All Current Records:

  1. Under the Record Options section, select "All on page".
  2. Under Select Download Format, select the format to save the record(s): usually the Full Record or the Brief Record
  3. Click the Format for Print/Save button. A list of records for the titles you selected will appear.
  4. Go to your browser's (eg. Internet Explorer) File/Save or File/Save As command to save your file.

To Clear a Search:

  1. Click the Clear Selected button to clear the check boxes.

New Search

To begin a new search, click the icon. The Title Bar at the top of the page will display your current Stout Library Catalog location.
